Ilan: it’s mostly funny business IMO. Grace, are you navigating using Ecobasa?
Lenara: I am curious about the feelings showing up in the art, like Bea says you can tell when someone is feeling depressed, etc.

Judy: We may be making assumptions about that so it would be interesting if artists could tag their feelings and others as well, to see if the assumption was accurate. On the other hand, literalizing art may not be such a great idea. In response to Lenara.
Lenara: Judy: yes be careful about not literalizing art but might be good to get feedback from artists about this assumed effect.
Ilan: Spot on.
Judy: Indeed
Lenara: That’s a very Judy question ;)
Judy: An essential question.
Lenara: I think it’s going towards the “commune” sharing way.
Judy: We can grow art.
Sebnem: It’s also very complementary to everything that others can grow. Like people might not want to exchange room for food — but both of them might be very willing to exchange room and food for art.
Anuj: Is the DADA community going to either 1) gather it’s own natural resources, food, industry, or 2) provide enough value in the form of art to the outside world, in perpetuity? I think the latter is possible but it only scales to an extent.
Sebnem: The barter example was metaphoric…
Lenara: It’s not just about exchanging art for money, we want to go beyond.
Sebnem: “Value in the form of art” is only one of the multiple dimensions of digital art on DADA.

Anuj: I love how there is space to think, contradict, and even be skeptical during these calls while working towards building better communities. Gives me hope that we can do something meaningful.
