Meet Michael Saltzman: adventurer, writer, and our new Product Manager.

Let him tell you the story of how he ended up with DADA in his own words:
Iwas working for a startup in San Francisco that assembles software development teams around web or app-based projects. Beatriz (the founder of DADA) came to us in search of UX/UI design help for a proposed iPad app. Having worked alongside innumerable founders, both Beatriz and DADA stood out to me in a way that felt quite alien. In startups, most folks are operating in a similar current — personalities, motivations, trajectories — often rather indistinguishable from the next. It’s safe to say Beatriz and DADA were outliers. I am drawn to outliers.
18 months later, after a year-long travel hiatus, I planted myself back in New York City, where I had spent most of my career before moving to San Francisco. Beatriz and I put a coffee on the calendar to catch up.
If you’ve lived in New York, you know that many coffee meetings and relationships can be transactional. This just wasn’t that by any measure. We deeply connected around our philosophies on humanity, travel and life. Realizing that her vision for DADA — the team, the product, the community — was a reflection of those philosophies, we knew immediately that we had to work together.
I will be helping DADA productize into its next phase of growth, making sure that the features we build are designed to reflect the best interests of creators and collectors alike. I am both deeply grateful and excited to join DADA as we chart together DADA’s journey as a decentralized, collaborative social network for artists, collectors, and people who love art.
In short, Michael is a fabulous guy and we are thrilled to welcome him. You can learn more about his adventures and writings here.
