DADA said goodbye to 2016 with a fantastic surprise. Some of our artists got together in Valparaíso, Chile to meet each other in person for the first time and draw together with pencils and paper.

Our founder Beatriz Helena Ramos flew to Chile from New York, to visit Cromomaníaco and Otro Captore, who live in Valparaíso. Boris Toledo Doorm joined them from Santiago.

They had a blast. All they did was draw!

Of course, they felt like they had known each other forever, since they have been drawing together on DADA for a while.

As Beatriz points out: “Drawing is completely transparent. You cannot lie when you draw. That is why the connections between people in DADA are so profound.”

All the drawings were created by the three artists together, working on each other’s drawing.

Today, more than ever, it is important for people to join in a common cause. We are proud that DADA provides a place for artists and people from all over the world to come together in creativity.
